The CNC Machinist III at Regal Rexnord in Aurora, IL will operate CNC machines, perform setups, and ensure products meet strict tolerances. The machinist will work from blueprints, process sheets, and setup instructions to complete each task with minimal supervision. The position requires performing a range of machining operations and ensuring quality control throughout the process.

Main duties include:

• Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, and machine status boards, and follow both verbal and written instructions.

• Machine, install, or re-cut chuck jaws as needed.

• Insert and secure tools in machine turrets, perform machine setups.

• Upload and download programs into the machine, and make minor programming adjustments as necessary.

• Operate various CNC machines to produce finished machined products, maintaining tight tolerances.

• Inspect own work to ensure dimensions are correct and maintain company quality standards. May be required to inspect other machinists’ work.

• Operate multiple machines or work in rotating departments as required.

• Enter data into the ERP system.

• Load and unload parts weighing up to 25 lbs.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
